Adriana Coppio (Taubaté, 1978) lives and works in São Paulo. She holds an Art degree from the FAAP - Armando Álvares Penteado Foundation. In 1999, Coppio was awarded the 1st Prize in the FAAP’s Art Annual.
Coppio was a guest student at the École Cantonale du Valais, in Switzerland, where she lived for two years. In 2003 she worked on the decoration of the theater show Les Misérables, in Switzerland.
Among the solo shows the highlights are: Capim d'Angola (2022), Sumidouro (2020), both part of the Vênus e Eclipse Ordinário Project (2019) at Casa da Luz, São Paulo and Para Therezinha, at Museo Nuova Era, in Bari (2007), Italy.
Recent group exhibitions: Visions of Paradise, of the Venus Project at Jaqueline Martins Gallery in Brussels and Apocalypse Now: são tantos os apocalipses, co-curated by Rafael Bqueer and Ricardo Sardenberg for the Venus Project, São Paulo (2022), Breves Narrativas de Sonho, curated by Mario Gioia, at Casa da Luz (2020) and A Parte Maldita: um esboço, curated by Ricardo Sardenberg at SIM Gallery, São Paulo(2019) and Internationaler André Evard Preis, Kunsthalle Messmer, Riegel am Kaiserstuhl, Germany.
She has participated in exhibitions in Italy, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, among other countries. His work is in the collection of the UBA-Universidad of Buenos Aires, Argentina and has recently been part of the collection of the National Museum of Fine Arts at the invitation of Paulo Herkenhoff.
