Property. Let us start by the Law. A slave is a thing². It is the res of the classic Roman Law. The enslaved had no rights – the only undeniable right was their wish to be free. Tronco rebuilds the subjectivity lost by the human res³ and places the work in the materialistic key of the social classes. It places the repressed statutory “thing” in history, that thing that is homo sacer in their meandering life without any legal support (G. Agamben 4).

March 2022. Around us, the entire world’s cartography, understandable until yesterday, seems to be fragmented and we still can’t understand which face the future will have. We look everywhere and a lot seems to fail – the weather, democracy, the worn out western epistemologies, the false technological promises. In face of this kind of collapse, the most common movement is trying to fix, quit (the game is over and it’s every man and woman for themselves) or, even, deny it. But, maybe, it’s less about searching answers as quick as innocuous and more about inhabiting the fail, "keeping the problem".
