Doctor of Visual Languages from the Post-Graduation Program of Visual Arts of UFRJ. Since 2015, Seixas is professor of Drawing at the School of Fine Arts, UFRJ, Rio de Janeiro. 


In 2015 he carried out his first solo exhibition, at Galeria de Arte do SESC Niterói. In 2008, in Belém do Pará, he received the SIM Visual Arts Award and participated in the group exhibition Janelas Para o Mundo at Espaço Cultural Casa das Onze Janelas. In 2009, the artist was awarded by the Instituto Itaú Cultural and participated in the fifth edition of the group exhibition Rumos Itaú Cultural Artes Visuais – Trilhas do Desejo (Instituto Itaú Cultural, São Paulo; Paço Imperial, Rio de Janeiro).

In 2012 he was the recipient, together with the artists Rafael Alonso and Hugo Houayek, of the Projéteis Funarte Award of Contemporary Art – Rio de Janeiro, which resulted in the group exhibition Palácio, at the Funarte’s Mezanine at Palácio Gustavo Capanema, Rio de Janeiro.

Among his recent exhibitions the highlights are the group exhibition Ornamentos (2013) at Galeria A Gentil Carioca, Rio de Janeiro and Paintbrush (2015) at Galeria Mercedes Viegas Arte Contemporânea, Rio de Janeiro.
In 2015 he was the youngest artist nominated for the fifth edition of the CNI-SESI Marcantonio Vilaça Award for Plastic Arts and participated in the award’s group exhibition at MAC-USP.

Still in 2015, Seixas participated in the 10th Mercosul Biennial, Porto Alegre. In 2011, he published the book “Sobre o Vago: Indefinições na Produção Artística Contemporânea” and, in 2013, "Palácio". His works are part of several private collections and , recently some of his works were acquired by the MAR (Museu de Arte do Rio – Rio Museum of Art) and by the Alex Katz Foundation, USA.
